Our journey
I have always loved hearing my parents tell me about stories of when I was younger, stories that I barely remember anymore. Flipping through photo albums and keepsakes that my mom kept for me always brought tears to my eyes. I loved reading all the things that my mom wrote down. I wanted to create something that people loved and will last a life time. Something that they will want to keep forever. Thus, Modern Baby Book was born. Created for all the new parents out there who wanted a life long treasured keepsake.
It was exciting yet scary, I was worried that no one would like my designs and I would hoard baby books in my basement. But fortunately, with a community of supportive buyers on Etsy, I started receiving orders! I started learning the ins and outs of fulfillment, branding, marketing and customer service. My parents also got involved. They began helping me with hand making my baby books, putting their engineering background to practice. Coupled with actual hands on experience with manufacturing and customer feedback, we worked tirelessly on improving the baby book in the past year. We will also continue to improve and make this product and brand experience to be the best it can be.
The brand's philosophy had always been to create products that inspire people to share their life moments. Driven by this philosophy, we will continue to design and evolve our products!
